Hauling For Hope, Inc. is a community-focused scrap metal pick-up service serving residential, commercial, and industrial facilities in the Twin City metro area.<\/em><\/p>\n Hauling For Hope\u2019s founder and CEO, Joe Hendricks, combined his experience of working in an auto repair shop with his love for his niece and developed it into a charitable, award-winning company.<\/em><\/p>\n In 1989, Joe\u2019s niece was born with a heart condition that caused a lack of oxygen to her brain \u2013 which resulted in permanent damage.<\/em><\/p>\n While Joe was working in an auto repair shop, he realized that many car parts were being thrown away and ending up in landfills, so he decided to recycle them. \u00a0This allowed him to have some spare money to be able to take his niece to do simple things she enjoyed so much.<\/em><\/p>\n Realizing the potential, Joe decided to get many other shops and companies to donate their material to be recycled, allowing Hauling For Hope to be established
